ELECTROMAGNETIC SHEARLOCKS

Electromagnetic shear locks are designed for access control of high profile entrances, such as full glass doors, while maintaining an aesthetically superior appearance. They are also suitable for double action doors. Shearlocks are usually concealed in the door frame with a sprung armature plate in the door. Surface mount models are also available. Main locking strength is achieved by a hardened steel pin locating in a receiver hole together with the magnetic strength of the lock.
