Here we aim to explain what an Electric Lock Power Supply is, these are power supplies specially made for the access control industry. The requirement of electric locks generally use  12 volts dc or 24 volts dc and 12volt ac and 24 volt ac.the power supplies step the power down from the mains to the required range of 12 or 24 volts The standard range is 1amp ,two amps , three amps of five amps. The dc power supplies also come in metal boxes to allow for rechargeable batteries to be housed, so that in the event of a power cut, power is still supplied to the locks.
