Fire rated door locks and latches are designed for use on emergency and fire exit doors which require access control. At Electric Locking Systems we have a range of electric fire exit door locking systems, including fire rated mortice locks, shear locks and electric strike locks from top brands GEM, Trimec, Securefast and more.

When choosing fire safety door locks, it’s important to choose one that is fire rated to the same level as the door. Many of our fire rated locks are suitable for 60-minute fire doors (FD60) and 30-minute fire doors (FD30). Some fire safety door locks, such as the GEM GK231M are suitable for both FD60 and FD30 doors.
