Keys are a nuisance and usually never to hand when you need them. The smartphone, on the other hand, is always in our pockets. So why not transform your mobile phone into a key?

The secuENTRY Active smart locking solution from BURG-WÄCHTER does just that. All you need is the secuENTRY Active unit and the free of charge BURGsmart app.
It works with your existing lock Upgrading to a smart lock can leave people with concerns about the level of security the new lock offers. secuENTRY Active installs over your existing lock – meaning all the benefits of
your present lock remain.

Turning the key so you don’t have to secu ENTRY Active is installed over the interior side of your present door lock. Using your existing key, a powerful motor rotates the key when activated, unlocking the door and relocking it again. A simple tap in the app and your door unlocks.

No phone? No problem.
You can even leave the smartphone at home if you opt for an optional keypad – simply enter your 6 digit pin code and the door unlocks.
Easy to install
Install the back plate on the inside of your door
using one of three possible methods – insert
the key into the lock – install the unit over the
top onto the back plate – job done!

        The system supports up to 15 door locks via the phone app

·        The system can provide up to 30 different unique users via the phone app

·        Each one of those users can have multiple forms of method as access (a code, a battery keyfob, a smartphone)

·        The “admin” is one of those 30 users, but with the ability to add and delete users / devices

·        The system is managed by one admin, you cannot have more than one person managing the system

·        In your example, the customer would add the bridge unit for the front door to the app as a device, add the bridge for the back door as another device. Once the bridge units are added, the front door and back door locks can be assigned to the relevant bridge units

·        Once the devices are added, now is a good time to create users – add up to 29 more users and assign them a form of access (code, smartphone, keyfob)

·        Finally, in the app you can manage the locking plan. This is where you assign users to the locks they require access to – when complete, the locks are programmed

·        The bridge units allow the programming to do be done offsite if required

·        The bridge units also allow the admin to unlock a door lock remotely
