Dorcas Rim & Mortice Electric Strike Lock Release

The Dorcas electric rim and mortice electric strike lock release is designed to replace the strike lock plate of the existing mortice night latch. The Dorcas lock has a pivoting metal jaw that is controlled by a low voltage solenoid. The sprung latch sits in the metal jaw, when the solenoid releases the jaw the door can be opened, and the latch will relock when the door closes. The electric rim locks are suitable for rim night latches. Use with any 12V access control and door entry systems.

There are 2 types of operation available: ‘fail-lock’ which means the jaw will be locked in a power failure. ‘Fail-unlock’ which means the jaw will be unlocked in a power failure. The adjustable jaw makes it more tolerant once fitted and allows for adjustment should the door drop over time.

Electric Locking Systems provide 4 versions of the electric strike lock, to suit your requirements:

• Sash Lock

The Dorcas electric strike lock is designed to be fitted to timber door frames on inward or outward opening doors.

• Ideal for domestic or light office situations
• Suitable for maximum latch bolt throw 12mm
• Reversible for left or right-hand door (except sash lock type) stainless steel finish faceplate
• Can be used with optional surface rim case
