Motorised device can be used with a variety of access entry systems such as digital keypad, proximity reader or swipe card system to allow controlled access from outside. The panic touch bar will always override this and be operable from inside to allow safe egress.
Motorised three point touch bar latch for use on a single door (timber, metal or PVCu) or the active leaf of a pair of rebated doors.
Motor operates on 12-24v DC (stabilised) or 12v AC. 2 amp power supply.
Comprises a touch bar containing a motor, modular mechanism and covered connecting rods and horizontal latching pullman latches at the top and bottom.
Can be supplied with dogging but not supplied as standard. The dogging (hold-back) facility should not be used on fire/smoke door assemblies but fine for escape doors. If dogging is required please state when ordering.
Standard size – 840mm suitable for doors upto 860mm wide, longer version – 1170mm for wider doors available. Suits doors upto 2585mm high as standard, longer rods are available to suit doors upto 3150mm high.
Supplied with strikers for timber or metal doors as standard – strikers for PVCu available separately
Micro-switch can be fitted in the mechanism, this allows the door to be fitted to equipment that monitors the door status. If required state when ordering

Touch bar panic devices can be fitted to doors in public buildings such as schools, hospitals, retail outlets, nightclubs etc where people are unfamiliar with the surroundings. PHTM5 motorised three point touch bar bolt is suitable for single doors, the inactive leaf of a pair of rebated doors or both leaves of a pair of straight edged doors.
