Look no further for a proximity card reader with Securefast Innoprox II door entry solution with tamper control. The Mifare classic car reader is made with a strong polycarbonate that can withstand harsh environments, LED & buzzer functions, high security card outputs and more. The Weigand output interfaces with most existing protocol access control systems. The integral ARDREX function allows 2 card readers to be connected together on one reader cable for ‘IN’ & ‘OUT’ operation when used with Securefast Entra+ door controllers.
LED & Buzzer Functions
When a card or fob is presented to the proximity reader, the red LED flashes green and gives a short beep. The multicolour LED and beeper are controlled by the host system. When the BUZZ function is enabled, a built-in 2 second timer allows the buzzer to be used with ‘Free Access Doors’ without the buzzer continuously sounding.
On reader power-up, an internal self test routine checks which verifies the setup configuration and determines the internal or external control of the LED and beeper. Reader operation within the Mifare class reader is then started.
The Innoprox proximity reader recognises card formats up to 90 bits long with unique ID’s. XTEA encryption keys provide over 18 billion billion differs. A tamper alarm output is provided in case of vandalism.
