Please note we cannot deliver to third party addresses. Your credit card must be registered at the delivery address.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery of all goods is made by courier. All goods can be despatched using fastest possible service Monday to Friday but are always subject to stock availability. For overseas orders, delivery will be charged at cost and will take longer. If other than standard delivery customer will be advised of cost before goods are shipped. Alternatively, customers can request their own freight company to collect from us.
Assuming items are in stock order will if possible be shipped same day. We can arrange for timed deliveries at extra cost
Every effort is made to ensure goods are despatched on time, however, this cannot be guaranteed as once orders are despatched we are dependant on the carriers.
ELS will not be liable in any way for the loss of earnings, production time or any other associated costs resulting from late or non-delivery of goods
Making A Purchase
Purchase products by clicking the “Checkout” icon, located on the main menu bar, or via the “Shopping Basket” – both links will open the “Checkout” page. To place your purchase in the shopping basket you must press “Confirm”.
Like the “Shopping Basket”, the “Checkout” page displays information on products you have chosen to purchase.
To make a purchase, fill in the purchaser Invoice details form displayed. The Invoice detail form also contains some handy features.
Deliver to the order to an address different than the one stated on the Invoice
The “Remember ME!” button – remembers Invoice details – saving future input.
Once your purchase information is input, press the “NEXT” button to proceed to the “Payment Section”.
The Payment section enables the selection of several credit card payment options.

Press the “NEXT” button to finalise your order. An on-screen invoice will now be displayed, stating all order details – which you can print. You will also receive an email confirming the Invoice details shortly after.
When will my order be delivered?
You will be notified by email once payment has been received and you will receive an email confirming the delivery time of your order.
All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and exclude VAT and delivery and are applicable to EC countries. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Standard delivery to UK Mainland is Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), generally between 9am and 5pm, We aim to get your purchase to you within 4 working days [2-5 days UK Regions & 5-8 days rest of Europe] if you order before 12.00pm or up to 5 days for orders placed after 12.00pm. Please allow 4-7 working days for extended Bank Holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter
All prices quoted are ex-works and a delivery charge will be made to UK mainland addresses (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Northern Island. On all orders outside UK mainland delivery will be charged at cost. Alternatively, customers can nominate their own freight company to collect from us.
On some products, we offer the option to order an item in advance if it’s not in stock at the time, but we know that more stock is on its way and we will let you know the date we expect delivery to be available on the site. If you purchase two or more products at a time, they may have different availabilities and methods of delivery, in which case you may receive your items individually as soon as they become available.
We do everything we can to ensure our delivery times are met but sometimes delays do occur with deliveries to the Scottish Islands and during peak ordering periods. We will let you know if we become aware of any unexpected delays.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait
On all orders made from the UK VAT is charged at the prevailing rate. UK rate of VAT will also be charged on EC order unless customer provides a valid VAT registration number when ordering.
Please be aware that we cannot offer VAT refunds to overseas customers ordering goods to be delivered to a UK address.
Credit Card Security
When an order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption and site is protected using standard SSL technology.
All goods will be carefully inspected before delivery to ensure freedom from defects and general compliance with the order. ELS undertakes to repair or replace at its option, free of charge, any component part of the Goods which fails due to an inherent defect within a period of 12 months from the date of sale unless ( or any other period published in ELS’s sales literature from time to time), provided that in the case of parts not manufactured by ELS the company shall only be liable to the extent of guarantees given to ELS by its suppliers and subject to the compliance by the buyer with all its obligations and undertakings in clause 5.6.6 and the other terms and conditions herein.
ELS shall have the right whether before or after the date of the Order to alter the specification of the goods or any part thereof without notice to the buyer provided that such alteration shall not adversely affect the performance of the goods and for the avoidance of doubt it is agreed that the sale and purchase shall not be a sale and purchase by sample.
The buyer must examine the goods immediately upon delivery and within 7 days thereafter notify ELS in writing of any defects and return any allegedly defective part or parts of the goods to ELS or as the company shall direct at the buyers expense within 18 days of delivery and pay to the company the costs of any tests carried out to such part or parts (such cost to be certified by ELS) together with costs of return thereof to the buyer in the event that no liability attaches to the company in respect of defects. In default, the buyer will be deemed to have examined and accepted the goods.
In relation to components bought in from outside manufacturers, ELS will use all reasonable endeavours to allow the buyer the benefit of such rights against the manufacturers as ELS may have.
ELS shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by or resulting from any variation (for whatever reason) in the specifications or technical data of any such outside manufacturer or for any loss or damage arising out of curtailment or cessation of supply following such variation, save as set out in the order in the absence of specific written agreement signed by ELS’s duly authorised representative:
The buyer accepts that he is not relying upon ELS’s judgement as to the fitness of the goods for any specific purpose of the buyer.
The buyer accepts that he is not placing an order in reliance upon any promise representation or inducement on the part of ELS.
ELS shall not be liable for any consequential loss or loss of profit howsoever arising (including by negligence) to the buyer the buyer’s staff or any third party.
ELS shall not be liable for any loss expense or damage howsoever arising (including by negligence) to any property of or furnished by the buyer and the buyer must ensure it as hereunder provided.
ELS shall not be liable and the buyer shall indemnify and hold ELS harmless against any claim by or any loss or damage to any person or property occasioned directly or indirectly by or arising from the use or operation (otherwise than by ELS) or possession of any part of the goods and from negligence (including the use of any part of the goods otherwise than in accordance with ELS’s operating instructions and manuals) or default (including any non compliance with any obligation imposed by these terms and conditions or any delay wrong information or lack of required information) or misuse by or on the part of the buyer or any person or persons other than ELS and this indemnity shall extend to any costs and expenses incurred by ELS and shall continue in force notwithstanding the termination of any agreement between the buyer and the company.
Until the expiry of any warranty period granted by the company or until the payment in full by the buyer of all monies whichever shall be the latter:
ELS’s representative shall have a full and free right of access to the goods
The buyer shall only permit duly authorised representatives of the company to effect replacement of parts maintenance and repairs to the goods.
The buyer shall properly maintain the installation space and environment for the goods so as to comply with ELS’s specifications.
The buyer shall use with the goods only such operating supplies as shall comply with ELS’s specifications.
The buyer shall permit operation of the goods only by such operators as shall be competent and conversant with the goods and the buyer shall not permit any addition or attachment to or movement of any item or part of the goods or purport to assign or transfer its interest under any agreement between the buyer and the company.
The buyer shall on request enter into ELS’s standard form of Health and Safety Undertaking.
The buyer shall conform with all instructions and labelling prescribed by the company in relation to the Consumer Protection Act 1987 or other health and safety legislation. Where the company incurs any liability whether by court proceedings or by a bona fide out of court settlement as a result of a claim against the company in respect of an alleged defect in the goods then the buyer shall indemnify ELS against all liability and all related works and expenses (except to the extent ELS would be liable to indemnify the buyer in respect thereof under these terms and conditions)
Each exclusion or limitation of liability in this clause or any sub clause or paragraph thereof:
Shall be construed as separate distinct and severable.
Shall not apply to direct claims for death or personal injury arising from the company’s negligence as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 but the buyer shall have no claims to indemnity in respect of and shall fully indemnify the company its employees agents and representatives against any claims by third parties (and all related costs and expenses) in respect of death or personal injury (save that ELS otherwise accepts liability therefore).
ELS reserve the right to alter product specifications in line with manufacturers guidelines. In certain cases upgraded products may be substituted at no additional cost.
Errors and Omissions:

Items deemed faulty and still within warranty period must be returned to us after you have emailed or faxed us a goods return note. This can be obtained together with a goods return number from our customer service department. Goods will not be accepted unless this has been done. We will require the invoice number on which the goods were originally despatched and the product serial number (if applicable). ELS reserve the right to credit or replace the faulty item with a similar one.
We do not send out advanced replacement items under any circumstances whatsoever, as unfortunately many customers fail to return the faulty item.
If a replacement item is required then this must be paid for before a replacement is despatched then return the item to us and we will refund you subject to our Refunds Policy as above.
Items returned as faulty within the warranty period will be tested and if it is found to be faulty as a result of poor workmanship a new item will be sent to you.
If upon test the item is found to be operational we will inform you and ask if you want us to return the item to you. A standard delivery charge will apply.
ELS cannot be held liable in any way for the loss of earnings, production, labour time, installation costs or any other associated costs resulting from incorrect installation or operation of our products or for any circumstances out of our control
Goods Ordered in Error:
Under certain circumstances ELS may accept the return of goods ordered in error providing they are in new condition, undamaged, warranty seal intact, complete in their original packaging and contain all installation and operating instructions, within 28 Days of the invoice date ,delivery charges will not be reimbursed, after the 28 days a 35% restocking charge will be levied and delivery charges will not be reimbursed. Items ordered specially or non-stock items will not be accepted back. Again a goods return form and number must be obtained to avoid returned item being refused by our goods return department. We also require a copy of the original invoice covering the product purchase.
Such items must be returned with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, fixings. Any supplied paperwork, manuals or instruction booklets must be in perfect condition. Any item not returned in a re-sale able condition will not be refunded – manufacturers will not accept items that are scratched, scuffed or have parts missing.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we will reimburse your costs in returning it to us.
