The FR-ML-350M Gem electric lock is designed for fire doors with a robust stainless-steel construction. The fire rated lock has been thoroughly tested to over 250,000 cycles without failure, with the fire-resistance tests conducted in accordance with BS EN 1634-1:2014 and BS EN 1363-1:2012.
For fire rating you need to use the ML350-Intumescent pack supplied with the lock.

This feature packed Gem lock will still operate under an impressive 500lbs of side-load pressure, which is over 225kg of force on the lock whilst still being able to function without compromise.
The narrow door lock is extremely versatile as it can be used on inward-opening and outward-opening doors, either left or right handed and installed horizontally or vertically.
With dual-monitoring outputs, the electric lock offers two sets of NO/NC/COM contacts, one labelled ‘Lock Status’ and the other labelled ‘Door Status’. This indicates whether the door is open or closed, as well as whether the lock is engaged or not.
